Membership

New Members:

Before membership is granted to a new applicant, the new applicant must be proposed and seconded by two existing adult members of the KFRC. In addition, either the KFRC receptionist or KFRC bartender must have sight of photographic ID and proof of address before accepting the payment of the fee. Only persons who normally reside at the house address should be listed on the form. The Executive Committee of the KFRC reserves the right to refuse membership to an individual.

The KFRC Membership Form

The household membership form has to be completed in full each year. Any details on record from the previous year (such as an email address or a child’s name) that are not now entered on the membership form will be deleted from KFRC records. The only details that will be recorded are those that are supplied on the form each year. Please download the form below

The Annual Household Membership Fee

With effect from 1st June 2022, the annual fee payable is as follows:

  • One or two adults                        €20
  • Each additional adult                   €10
  • No fee for children u18

A once-off payment of €5 per bar card is also charged. These payments may be made at the reception desk or at the bar counter during business hours. No refund of the membership fee or of the bar card charge will be made under any circumstances.

Annual Fee Due Date

A reminder to pay the annual fee is sent to the household approximately 2 weeks before the fee is due. Where a household has not renewed membership for a period of more than 3 years, all details of that household will be deleted from KFRC records. However, we do retain a list of all the original founder members.

New, Damaged or Lost Bar Card

Whether seeking a bar card for the first time or a replacement for a damaged or lost bar card, a charge of €5 applies. A form must be partially completed to show the member’s name and address and indicating whether the bar card has been damaged, lost or is a first time card.
